Recipe Ingredients:

- 1 cup Epsom Salt
- 1 tbsp Fractionated Coconut Oil
- 3 drops Essential Oils
I love Peppermint Essential Oil for foot soaks. The Peppermint Oil makes the feet a little tingly so it is perfect after a long day.
But you can also substitute your favorite essential oil, or simply use what you already have on hand.
Same for the Coconut Oil, any carrier oil can be substituted.
Combining Ingredients:
In a small bowl add 1 cup of Epsom Salt.
If there are any clumps, you can break the clumps with your fingers.
Add 1 tablespoon of Coconut Oil to the salt.
Last, add 3 drops of essential oil.
Combine the ingredients together. I used a spatula but you could also use your fingers.
And that is all there is to the recipe. It is super easy
Pour the salt mixture into the plastic tub.
Add warm water and fill the tub until it is about halfway full.
Then carefully slip your feet into the tub, and enjoy!
Soak for about 15 - 20 minutes or until your water gets too cold.
I usually start with pretty hot water so I can soak even longer.
When you are done soaking, pat your feet dry with a towel, and now is the perfect time for a little at-home pedicure.
Clip your softened toenails, and go over your heels with a pumice stone to remove dead skin.
Finish your pedicure with some lotion and a foot and calf massage. Then cover with a comfy pair of socks!
You will feel like a new person!

Some of the best essential oils for soaking feet are Peppermint oil, Eucalyptus oil, Lavender oil, and Tea Tree Oil, but don't be afraid to experiment and find other blends that you like. Essential oils won't damage your skin as long as they are used correctly and in small doses.

Yes, you can combine Epsom salts and vinegar to create a relaxing foot soak. But make sure that the vinegar is diluted, 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water.
