S'mores are delicious and a great summertime snack. Although, I don't like how messy they are, and the chocolate never seems to melt right, no matter how you try to do it.
With this dip, you don't have to worry about any of the stringy sticky mess or melted chocolate because it is all perfect!

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need to use a cast iron skillet?
The short answer is no. You can use any oven-safe baking container.
I have tried the recipe in glass, ceramic, and cast iron, and for some reason, the chocolate chips melt the best in the cast iron. This means you need less bake time and there is less chance of burning the chocolate.
Can you refrigerate s'mores dip?
Yes, you can!
Although no need to refrigerate the graham crackers, so keep those in the pantry. But the s'mores dip can be covered and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Can you reheat s'mores dip?
Yes! The best way is to put it back in the oven for a couple of minutes.
If you’re microwaving, do not reheat in the cast iron skillet. Use a microwave-safe dish and heat in 10-second increments. Marshmallows love to expand quickly when microwaved.
Ingredients You'll Need For This Recipe:

S'mores Dip Instructions:
You have noticed that there are no measurements for the ingredients needed. That is because you really don't need them.
I am using a 5-inch iron skillet for the recipe, but you could also use a 10-inch skillet or a 15-inch skillet!

Cover the bottom of your skillet with a layer of chocolate chips.

Then cover with a layer of mini marshmallows.

For a 5-inch skillet, preheat the oven to 450º and bake for 3-4 minutes.
For a larger skillet or container, preheat the oven to 450º and bake for 7-10 minutes.
You want the chocolate chips to melt quickly because it doesn't take very long for the marshmallows to brown in the oven.
Carefully remove from oven and serve hot with graham crackers. Yum!

Our Baking Essential List:
- For baking casseroles, we use Glass Baking Dishes. I especially like the dishes with lids so leftovers can be transferred straight to the fridge.
- Silicone Kitchenware is my favorite because they don't scratch my cookware and are super easy to clean!
- To prepare all of those ingredients a Glass Cutting Board is a must. We even keep ours on our counter at all times.
- This Knife Set will also become your favorite! They cut beautifully and with the hollow design of the knife, food doesn't stick to the blade.

Why is a glass cutting board a must?
Katie Adams
You need some sort of trivet or heating pad to put under the hot cast iron. A glass cutting board works great, but you could use others as well.
