Make a family dinner everyone will love with this Pepperoni Pizza Casserole Recipe. The complete recipe is below!

With 4 kids in the mix, it can be hard making a meal that everyone will eat, and even enjoy! This recipe has become one of our go to’s because I actually get cheers when I announce that pizza casserole is for dinner!

Easy Dinner Recipes:

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t love cooking dinner, but I do love eating it when the family is all gathered together around the table. Some other favorites are this Delicious Corn Dog Recipe, Homemade Chicken Nuggets, and Easy Oven Fried Chicken.

  • 1 16 oz bag of egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 large can or jar of pizza sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 lbs. ground chuck, cooked and drained
  • 1 package of pepperoni

How to Make Pizza Casserole:

Cook and drain the ground chuck in a large skillet. Cook and drain the egg noodles in a medium pot.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large 9×13 baking dish, start by spreading a thin layer of the pizza sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.

Continue by layering in this order:

  • Half of the noodles
  • half of the ground chuck
  • half of the pizza sauce
  • half of the shredded cheese
  • the remaining half of the noodles
  • the remaining half of the ground chuck
  • the remaining half of the pizza sauce
  • the remaining half of the cheese
  • Top off with the Pepperoni and/or other favorite pizza toppings

Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

Remove the foil cover and bake for another 15 minutes.

Allow the pizza casserole to sit for about 10 minutes before serving.

Our Baking Essential List:

  • For baking casseroles, we use Glass Baking Dishes. I especially like the dishes with lids so leftovers can be transferred straight to the fridge.
  • Silicone Kitchenware are my favorite because they don’t scratch my cookware and are super easy to clean!
  • To prepare all of those ingredients a Glass Cutting Board is a must. We even keep ours on our counter at all times.
  • This Knife Set will also become your favorite! They cut beautifully and with the hollow design of the knife, food doesn’t stick to the blade.

If you were to make this and freeze it, would you freeze before you cook it? or after? What do you think would be better?

It sounds a lot like lasagna. I’m sure it is yummy. Another recipe like this uses the frozen ravioli with cheese. You can use so many different variations. Just think out of the box and have fun.

My family likes this casserole, but we use 1 pound ground beef and 1 pound Italian sausage for more flavor 🙂

I think you may have over compensated the meat and noodles. I didn’t have enough room for all of it. Also there is no way to fit 2 packs of pepperoni on there trust me I tried lol. We’re pepperoni lovers In our house. It’s in the oven as I type. I’ve got high hopes.
