Our family schedule is CRAZY! Between the 4 kids, there is basketball, dance, piano, and guitar. Plus all of the friend hangouts and wanting to be taken from here to there. Tell me I'm not alone, is your family schedule crazy too?
Amid all of the craziness, there is usually one night a week that our schedules align and we are all home and can sit and eat dinner together - at the same time!
This last Wednesday one of those strange nights when we were all home. We turned the evening into a fun, family night we called it WOK Wednesday.
We cooked dinner, talked, teased each other, laughed, and we did it all together. It was great!
For dinner, we made P.F. Chang's Home Menu Family-Size Orange Chicken Skillet Meal.
It was so yummy and so easy to make! What I like best is how P.F. Chang’s Home Menu frozen meals are made with from-scratch sauces and delicious and vibrant veggies. It's like eating restaurant-quality authentic Asian food, at home. Perfect!
And when I say easy, I really mean easy. All ingredients are already in the bag!
For the Orange Chicken, we poured the contents of the bag right into our skillet and began cooking. We didn't even have to add oil. Only stir periodically through the cook time.
Making Dinner:
P.F Chang’s Home Menu even makes their sauce from scratch, just like at the restaurant. It's good to know that we can make meals at home while keeping the authentic Asian flavors.
The Orange Chicken is made with real Orange Peel and other carefully selected ingredients that allow caramelization of the sauce, replicating the wok cooking process. Yum!
It smells so good as it cooks. We each took turns removing the lid and giving it a stir.
After 13 to 15 minutes the Orange Chicken is done!
Dinner is Ready!
Start with a scoop of steamed white rice in a bowl, or try P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Chang’s Signature Rice, top with P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Orange Chicken and dinner is ready!
Frozen Meal Review:
After our Wok Wednesday, we all gave the P.F. Chang's Orange Chicken a big thumbs up! It was really very good!
The meal came together very quickly without added ingredients. We just set some rice in the rice cooker, and within 20 minutes, dinner was ready!

Our Baking Essential List:
- For baking casseroles, we use Glass Baking Dishes. I especially like the dishes with lids so leftovers can be transferred straight to the fridge.
- Silicone Kitchenware is my favorite because they don't scratch my cookware and are super easy to clean!
- To prepare all of those ingredients a Glass Cutting Board is a must. We even keep ours on our counter at all times.
- This Knife Set will also become your favorite! They cut beautifully and with the hollow design of the knife, food doesn't stick to the blade.
