15-minute cheese pizza rolls are perfect for quick lunches or great game day snacks. A super simple recipe that will have the whole family smiling.
With the kids home I try to whip up quick and easy lunches so we can get back to playing. I spend a good chunk of time in the kitchen for dinner. I don't want to be in the kitchen all afternoon too. I have also made these up on game days, when we had lots of people over, to add to the snack list. They are always a big hit.
There are 4 ingredients in these 15 minutes cheese pizza rolls.
- jar spaghetti sauce
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- Italian seasoning
- thin crust pizza dough
First, Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Then, lay out the dough on a baking sheet. Using a pizza cutter, cut lengthwise than vertical. I was able to get 15 squares.
Next, add a spoonful of sauce on each square. Add some shredded cheese on the sauce, and a pinch of Italian seasoning. Take one side of a square and fold in half, pinching the edges closed with your fingers, or gently with a fork. Just be sure that the edges are sealed together or the filling inside will come bubbling out.
Bake in a 425-degree oven for 12-14 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool, serve and enjoy!
Keeping it simple and delicious. These 15-minute cheese pizza rolls will make for some big smiles.

What a great idea! I saw this post on Mix It Up Monday! These would be so much fun to get the kids involved with cooking too! My kiddos always ask to help with the cooking! We will totally be making these!

Do you find these to be less expensive than the frozen pizza snack bites youcan buy? I hate to spend the money on those.
Katie
Hi Charlotte! This post comes from my contributor Mistie, and this is her answer to your question.
Totino's pizza rolls are around $4 for 40 rolls may be cheaper. Although, one of these rolls comes out about 2-3 times the size of a store pizza roll. Additionally, I prefer to make things from scratch so I know more about what goes into the meal from the ingredients. It does work out a bit cheaper for me as I make my own spaghetti sauce from my garden and use my herbs for the seasoning. So I paid for cheese and crescent rolls basically. Wow... Sorry, that was long. 🙂 Hope it helps!

My daughter off and on loves pizza! Maybe if I present it in different ways she'll like it more often. 🙂 Toddlers. Definitely trying these soon!
