How to Make a Nerf Style Pool Noodle Launcher
To begin, cut the pool noodle into a 4-inch long piece.
The styrofoam of the pool noodle cuts really easy, all you need is a pair of scissors.
Next, take a deflated 12-inch balloon and carefully cut of just the tip.
Tie a knot on the end you normally tie a knot on. You know the side where you would blow the balloon up.
Then Slide the cut open end of the balloon over the cut end of pool noodle.
The knot on the balloon should be right over the hole in the pool noodle.
Cut a long strip of duck tape and wrap around the launcher. The tape should be half on the balloon and half on the pool noodle.
And that is it! Your pool noodle launcher is ready!!
What to Shoot in a Pool Noodle Launcher?
Now comes the fun part. Shooting things out of the launcher.
My favorite are pom poms. I bought a bag of pom poms in assorted sizes. I found the smaller pom poms to shoot the best. The larger ones tended to get jammed in the pool noodle hole.
Marshmallows also work great. Just make sure they are soft marshmallows so they don't hurt.
What would you shoot out of your pool noodle launcher? The best things are small and light. Share and let me know in the comments!
And it helps if you pull faces when aiming too. Trust me!
