Combine two delicious favorites, Loaded Fries and Taco Meat, and you are left with Loaded Taco Fries! YUM!! This is a recipe that will become a family favorite!
Have you ever been hit by a stroke of genius? It doesn't happen to me very often, and by that, I mean nearly ever. I don't even remember what I was doing when I had this super awesome amazing idea.
Loaded Taco Fries!!!!
There is no way I was the first person to have this recipe idea, but I was so excited to give it a try.
Loaded Taco Fries
Start with a bag of frozen fries. The Crinkle cut is my favorite! No special directions here, simply follow the baking instructions on the back of the bag.
While the fries are baking, cook the ground beef and add a taco seasoning pouch and follow the instructions on the packet. Yup, still pretty easy.
The key ingredient is my all-time favorite cheese sauce, Southeastern Mills Cheese Sauce Mix. It is great for so many things, not just loaded taco fries!
Here in Utah the only place I can find it is at the Hostess Bread Store but I did find it on Amazon too.
Cook per the directions on the bag. Are you noticing a trend here?
Once all of the ingredients are ready it is time for the fun part! Layer the fries, taco meat, cheese sauce, sour cream, guacamole, and top it off with a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
This is so good and I am definitely adding this recipe to one of our regulars.
My kids love dinners where they can add what they want and however much they want!

Our Baking Essential List:
- For baking casseroles, we use Glass Baking Dishes. I especially like the dishes with lids so leftovers can be transferred straight to the fridge.
- Silicone Kitchenware is my favorite because they don't scratch my cookware and is easy to clean!
- A Glass Cutting Board is a must to prepare all of those ingredients. We even keep ours on our counter at all times.
- This Knife Set will also become your favorite! They cut beautifully, and with the hollow design of the knife, food doesn't stick to the blade.

OMG these are very similar to my all time favorite Carne Azada Fries. They are incredible. Carne azada instead of ground beef but they also have grated cheddar cheese, sour cream and guacamole. I like mine spicy so i drown them in Tapatio or Chulula. YUM!!! Gosh, now I'm hungry. lol
Katie Adams
I am sorry I made you hungry 🙂 MMMMM they sound amazing with carne azada too. I may have to try that!
