I hope everyone is enjoying the first few days of Fall! : ) Earlier this week I shared Part 1 of my Fall Home Tour, and I'm super excited to be joining in on the Farmhouse Fall Tour of Homes today to share my Kitchen and Dining Room with you.
Today is the last day of the tour so make sure and scroll to the end of the post so you can catch up with all the other gorgeous homes! If you are stopping in from Home by Ally or Dandelion Patina, WELCOME! I'm so excited to have you here! Feel free to grab a cup of coffee and get comfy, I hope you enjoy our little tour!
This year my theme has been simplicity. Nothing fancy, nothing crazy... just a few simple pumpkins and little touches of fall. This is my absolute favorite season so I'm trying to take a deep breath and enjoy each moment with my family!
This bookshelf might be my exception to simplicity, but I really only added a few new things. I replaced my little white flowers for the wheat stems and Mr. Owl made a reappearance from last year, isn't he adorable?
Then I filled up my old milk crate with some dollar store pumpkins. A tutorial on those to come!
Our little reading nook looks pretty much the same, just a few little touches. I think I need a pumpkin spice latte to sip on while sitting in that chair! You can come join me ; )
Our table got a little fall centerpiece made with some faux pumpkins and dried hydrangeas. I seriously adore the green color of these gorgeous flowers! I need more of them in my life.... lots more!
Something else I'm really excited about is this bluish green pumpkin sitting on our wooden stool. It was my first time ever to come across this type of pumpkin, so I had to ask the guy at our local nursery what they were and they are called: jarrahdale pumpkins. Whatever they are... they are awesome!
Did I mention my love for fall breads. Yes, it's true, I will gain at least 10 lbs this holiday season.
Our Kitchen didn't get a huge change either. I added a few potted herbs and a couple little things above the microwave.
I'm trying my hand at some real plants this year... we shall see how it goes. Try not to judge me on the already drooping leaves on our mum :(. The struggle is real!
So this wraps up our Fall Home Tour. If you missed Part 1 I'd love for you to check that out here, or click the picture below.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and don't forget to check out the tons of inspiration in the Farmhouse Fall Tour of Homes. Have a beautiful day!
