Make a cute ribbon headband to match any outfit. A great kids craft project to keep the kids busy or make one for yourself. Fun and cheap craft.
Today’s ribbon headband tutorial is super simple and would be easy to throw together if you needed a cute hair accessory to match an outfit. All you need for this project is a headband, some cute ribbon and a hot glue gun.
I started on the inside end of the headband with a dot of hot glue
and then simply wrapped the ribbon around the headband. I added several more dots of hot glue as I went to keep the ribbon nice and tight as I wrapped it around.
I could have left it just like this but decided to add a little bow to add a little bit more feminine cuteness.
I don’t have exact measurements but to make the bow I used 2 strips of the same ribbon. Made a circle with the strong strip by putting a dot of hot glue on one end and attaching it to the other end so I had a circle. To make the band of the bow flatten the circle and wrap the smaller piece of ribbon around the center and secure with hot glue. Easy Peasy!
I think it turned out super cute and easily took me less than 30 minutes to make.
