Make a simple ribbon roll storage solution using wood dowels and cafe rod brackets that will look great in your craft room!
I have had my ribbon stored like this for years, and I love it!
The ribbon is easily sorted and I can clearly see all the ribbon that I have and it just rolls off the roll.
Recently, I had to upgrade to 3 dowels because I was running out of room!

Ribbon Dowel Holder:
The first time I put these up I just used 2 per dowel. After a while, the dowels began to droop in the middle from the weight. So I suggest using 3 of the brackets, and of course, they only come 2 to a package.
Make sure to put the brackets into the studs of the wall because you don't want them to pull out of the wall. A lot of ribbons can have some weight to them.

The Cafe Rod Brackets have a screw front so when you have your dowels filled you can tighten the screw so the dowel doesn't move around when you are unwinding the ribbon.

I LOVE my ribbon storage!

Just this morning I was fighting the ribbon in my ribbon basket. FYI: a basket is not the best place to store ribbon! I'm thinking something similar to this is in my future.

Great idea! It sure beats a bunch of tangled ribbons in a box.
