The perfect blend of vodka, lime, orange, and ginger beer to create a delicious Holiday Orange Moscow Mule - perfect for entertaining!

The holidays are fast approaching and serving up a good cocktail is the perfect way to enjoy those cozy nights at home! Moscow mules have always been a personal favorite of mine, and adding an orange flavor just makes it feel perfect with Christmas! Citrus is such a great way to bring in that freshness of summer into the winter! But let's be honest... you could do this year round! So please enjoy this Orange Moscow Mule!
How to Make an Orange Moscow Mule
Do you ever feel like you can't get your mixed drinks to taste quite as good as your favorite "fancy" restaurants? The reason why is simple: Fresh Ingredients!! All the places that pride themselves on good drinks almost always use fresh ingredients! For today's recipe we will be doing a little squeezing with some fresh citrus! And while it may take a little longer, it's absolutely worth the effort!
Fresh Squeezed Orange and Lime Juice
I've tried this recipe many different ways, and I feel like this recipe is the perfect combination of lime and orange juice. Obviously you can do whatever you like. You don't have to use limes at all if you are a fan of oranges! To get started juice some limes and oranges and set it aside. If you're making this for more than yourself go ahead and do all the squeezing up front because that's definitely the most time consuming part!
I don't actually use the cranberries in the recipe, they are just a pretty garnish that makes it feel even more like the holidays! If cranberries are your thing though you could totally utilize them in this recipe, the flavors go together quite well!
Holiday Mule
Once all your citrus is juiced it's time for the mixing! I just mix everything together in a Moscow Mule Mug, add ice, and top with ginger beer. Then of course the garnishes! Because you have to have a garnish, I swear it makes the drinks taste better!
