Hi everyone! Today I am going to show you how to make oat flour. You are not going to believe how easy and fast this is to make. Making your own Oat Flour is very simple and all you need is old fashion oats, a food processor, or a high rpm blender. You can use oat flour in many recipes including: smoothies, muffins, cookies, or breads. The possibilities are quite endless. I have a fun recipe using oat flour that I will be sharing with you very soon, so stay tuned! So without further ado let's get started...
First put your desired amount of oats in your food processor or high rpm blender.
Process on high for a few seconds for a coarse powder, or process on high for several minutes for a fine powder.
And that is how you make Oat Flour! Pretty Amazing, huh? I was impressed myself when I first made it too. I hope you will enjoy making your own Oat Flour soon!
Till next time.
Bill
Try toasting the oat meal first, then process.

I will have to try that some time, I have heard of toasting quinoa before processing it into flour, but not oats! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Can you please tell me what the conversions are for oat flour recipes? E.g. Is 1 cup of oats equal to 3/4 cup oat flour or?? I've tried finding charts that explain this conversion but haven't had any luck so far.
Thanks!
Jhen
This would be great for making oatmeal bath, too.

How much oats do you put in?
Katie
You can put in however much you want. It's not an exact measurement. I would suggest filling the processor up at least 1/3 of the way.
