Halloween is just a couple of days away, but there is still a little bit of time left to make these fun Halloween Treat Candy Bar Covers.
I got this idea from Skip to My Lou when I needed some small easy gifts for my coworkers. This little project was perfect, and who doesn’t love candy bars, especially around Halloween?
These would also be easy teacher gifts, neighbor gifts, or whatever gifts to hand out to friends and family during the SCARY season.

Halloween Treat Candy Bar Cover Tutorial
Skip to My Lous has printable PDFs that you can download from their site, but I wanted to use my Cricut Explore so I created SVG files for the Candy Bar Wrappers.
You can download the files from my dropbox, and then upload into Cricut Design Space.
Just make sure when you are cutting that you make the wingspan of the wrapper 6 1/2-inches to fit the candy bars perfectly.
Here they are all cut out, I only did the bat and the ghost.
Score a line along the inside wing so they will fold up perfectly.
Attach google to the face.
You can customize further if you would like. I found some Halloween stamps in my stash stamped on the inside wing to add a Halloween greeting.
Attach the candy bar to the cover with a couple of glue dots and you are ready to hand them out!
I sure hope my coworkers like them! Who are you going to make them for? Share and leave a comment below.

These are so cute! I saw them on Woman’s Day site also and was so disappointed that were no longer there. Thanks for creating them. Made my life so much easier! Just one quick question what size did you make them when you cut them out?
Katie says
Oh that is a great question Glena! Sadly I don’t have in front of me to tell you exact measurements. I would measure the length of the candy bar and add about 1 1/2 to the length of the file. That gives you room for the head and the arms to compleltely wrap around the bar.
Glena says
Thanks for getting back with me. If you get a chance could you place the actually dimensions?
Katie says
I am sorry, but I don’t have the actual dimensions that I used. I made these last year. So I no longer have any. Measuring your candy bar should work just fine.
Glena says
Thanks! Also I used my Cricut to cut these out and I am getting to cut lines an inner and then an outer. Do you know why this is happening?
