This dinner recipe ain’t your mama’s meatloaf recipe. This is a family favorite recipe that my kids ask to eat.
It all starts with Heinz Classico Family Favorites line of sauces. There are lots of great combinations of flavors, but for my meatloaf, I prefer the Traditional.
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 dry onion soup mix
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 Heinz Classico Family Favorites Pasta Sauce
Heat oven to 350.
Add ground beef, bread crumbs, onion soup mix and beaten egg into a bowl.
Normally, I serve meatloaf directly from the loaf pan. But since this is for a blog post I had to make it pretty. I carefully removed it from the pan onto a serving plate.
I think it was a success because this is what it looked like by the time we were done.
