Our Master Bedroom is always the room that gets left out, but in this house we decided to tackle our bedroom as one of the first rooms that we would makeover. I'm sure I'll be doing little things here and there to add on, but for now our Modern Farmhouse Master Bedroom Makeover with Birch Lane is complete and my new favorite room in the house. Birch Lane currently released over 10,000 new products. Typically I enjoy a very industrial farmhouse style, but for our bedroom I wanted something a little more soft and cozy by mixing different products from the new Birch Lane Styles. But before we get started, here's the before picture:

The design of our bedroom was created around this Upholstered Panel Bed. Our bed resides in the center of our room and is the obvious focal point of the space. In order to maintain my love for all things industrial I paired our tufted bed with these Stourton Side Tables.
Opposite the bed we used the dresser from our previous "entryway" which is actually the Seneca Dresser.
And next to the dresser is our cozy little sitting area.
So far we are absolutely loving this new space, and I'll be honest, it's a little harder to get out of bed in the mornings..... the price we pay for a beautiful space right?? ; )

Hi Mary! So apparently my pictures make it look kinda blue-ish, but it's actually gray... however it's from Target 🙂 I just didn't want to send you to the store thinking it was blue 😉

Ashley - I found the duvet cover online at Target and it does come in blue and white. Is the white stripe really white or more of an off white. Also, what size bed do you have? Did you get a queen or king size duvet?

Ok, I'm not a 100% positive because the paint swatch online doesn't look super accurate. But I found a sticker in our house from the builder that says it's Sherwin Williams Bahaus Buff. The paint chip makes it look much more tan than it is in my house. It's definitely a very warm gray color and certainly can look a little tan-ish in certain lights, and depending on the decor around it!! I use lots of gray so that could be why it appears more gray to me. : / Hope that helps though! You could definitely test it out and see if you like it before buying a whole gallon!

Also, you note the bed is beige but it looks more creamy on the Wairfair website. I like the way it looks in your bedroom much better. I almost thought it was a very light gray. I'm waiting for it to come back in stock. 🙂 I also love the chair!

Thanks so much for the sweet comments Karen! So there are several different colors on the website, and mine is the beige color on Wayfair.com. My pictures do make it appear a little lighter than it actually is.. it's so hard to get the paint color and furniture to all look perfectly true to color, but it is a very pretty beige type color that goes very well with grays, there is some gray threading mixed in. Overall I'm very happy with the color and I personally believe that it could go well with earth tones or grays. Hope that helps a little! ; )

Where did you get the leaf stems you have in the vases on either side of the tv? What kind of stems are they, Eucalyptus? I like how full they are and would love to know where I can get them. Love the room!

Thank you!! These stems are actually permanently attached to the vase. I found it at Homegoods a while back. But I believe I have seen these stems at Hobby Lobby. I think they are called frosted eucalyptus. ; )

I don't know what carpet this is. It was already there when we purchased the house. It's a frieze style carpet, but I have to be honest. I don't love this style of carpet. We ended up replacing it because unless you are prepared to by the top of the line frieze carpet it flattens out very quickly and it only looks good for about 30 seconds after you vacuum. I actually have a post on the new carpet we got if you just search for "pet friendly carpet" it should come up. It was a sponsored post I did with Home Depot, but after living with it for a year I can honestly say I would ALWAYS use that carpet! It the lifeproof collection they offer. We did upgrade to the memory foam padding, but that was the best carpet ever!! I miss it! I always suggest taking home samples (big ones if possible) to see how it looks in your home because paint color, sunlight, and furniture can cause all kinds of color changes and you want to know what it's going to look like in YOUR home! : ) Hope that helps a little.
