Do you need an office but don't have an extra room? Consider creating a Master Bedroom Home Office to accommodate all your workspace needs in a small space.

We're in the home stretch of the One Room Challenge and I have one more little space to share with you before the full reveal! My husband works from home quite a bit, and until we finish up our attic space we don't really have a home office. That's why we knew we had to create a Master Bedroom Home Office to hold us over. We've partnered with Article to create this cozy little space that is both functional and stylish! Let's take a tour!
When I was looking for furniture I originally wanted a different desk from Article. Unfortunately it was out of stock and since I needed a desk sooner for the One Room Challenge I went with the Fantol Desk. They always say things happen for a reason, and I'm so thankful we ended up with this desk. It was the PERFECT way to fill this wall. It sits right in between two doors and I knew I'd need some height above the desk to balance everything out.
Small Space Office Solution
Having the shelves really grounded this whole space and defined our "office area". With the leaning desk style it also provides a more airy feel in our not-so-large bedroom with less legs. It's the perfect small space solution without sacrificing that feeling of a solid piece of furniture!
Master Bedroom Office Space
This desk has two drawers (which open by pushing in) with a perfectly streamlined design. To compliment this streamlined look I went with a solid black chair to let the desk shine!
Neither my husband or I have jobs that require lots of paperwork so we don't need a ton of storage, just a place to complete computer work!
We decided to keep a little box on the desktop to store little odds and ends whenever necessary.
When decorating the shelves I knew I wanted to stick with my high contrast vibe in our bedroom, so I went with black decor, neutral elements, and a few pops of greenery.
I found a gorgeous piece of art with these dream evergreen trees that reminds me of our pacific northwest vacation last summer! I seriously fell in love with that part of the country!
I'll be sharing the full reveal next week and I just can't even express how much I'm loving this whole space! If you missed the before pictures you can head back to week 1 and take a look... it's come quite a long ways!

This is quite similar to my workspace right after a "great cleanup," as I call it. I don't have a lot of paperwork either, but the mess comes over again... 😀
