Grilling Skillet
I use the Mr. Bar-B-Q grilling Skillet.
The design of this grilling pan has been updated, so mine looks different.
I love my Grilling Skillet because I can cook my vegetables on the grill without worrying about them falling through the cracks.
Also, the skillet has an easy on/off so it doesn't get hot while things are grilling.
Ingredients
This recipe doesn't contain exact measurements. I measure with my heart, according to my taste.
- 1-2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- Minced Garlic
- Coarse Salt
- Favorite Vegetables
- Mushrooms
- Red Potatoes
- Onion
- Green and Red Pepper
Prepare the Vegetables
Wash the small red potatoes and cut them in half.
I like to parboil the potatoes so they cook faster on the grill.
Parboil means to partially boil until they are soft but not fully cooked.
For my small potatoes, I boil them for about 5 minutes, drain them, and then add them to a medium-sized bowl.
Wash and cube the other vegetables, and place them in the bowl.
Add the Olive Oil, Salt, and Garlic to the bowl and toss or stir until the vegetables are well coated.
Grill
Heat the barbeque grill to 400º - 450º.
Place the skillet on the grill and then pour the vegetables in.
Close the lid to the grill, and check on them every 5 minutes while giving them a shake to move the vegetables around in the skillet.
Repeat until the potatoes are easily pierced with a fork. That means they are finished cooking
Mine took about 15 minutes. Yum, it smells so good!
All that is left is to add them to your plate and enjoy!
Makes a great side dish or main dish for the summer.
Variations
Add your favorite garden vegetables, fungi, or squash to make it your new favorite recipe!
- Spicy - add chili pepper flakes while cooking to imbue heat into the dish
- Deluxe - add a protein like chicken, steak, or shrimp to make it a more filling meal
- Kid-friendly - for kids who love french fries these potatoes are a hit

Our Baking Essential List
- We use Glass Baking Dishes for baking casseroles. I especially like the dishes with lids because leftovers can be transferred straight to the fridge.
- Silicone Kitchenware is my favorite because they don't scratch my cookware and is easy to clean!
- A Glass Cutting Board is a must to prepare all of those ingredients. We even keep ours on our counter at all times.
- This Knife Set will also become your favorite! The knives cut beautifully, and the hollow design prevents food from sticking to the blade.

Even though I have not used my basket yet it is a great tool! Would make grilling small items such as chopped veggies much easier.
