Last week I shared with you my Santa Jar Craft and today I am excited to show you what I did with the green M&M's that came in the bag - I made an Elf Jar! My package of M&M's had both red and green M&M's in it and I didn't want them to go to waste so I thought this would be perfect! You really could put any treat or gift or even a gift card in the jar to giveaway as a fun gift for Christmas.
Elf Jar Craft and Gift
This is a craft that is so simple to do and something you could do with your kids. Tie a pretty bow and note around the lid and you have a cute gift for the kids to give out to their friends or teachers.
Supplies needed:
- Jars - I used the 8 oz Crystal Jars
- Green M&M's is what I used but you could put anything inside
- Red Scrapbook Paper
- Little Bells
- Adhesive I used Tacky Tape and mini glue dots
- Ribbon
- Scissors
These cute small jars are perfect for fun treats. You can grab the jars on Amazon or Walmart. Feel the jar up with your green candy or other treat/gift. Secure with the lid. Now cut a 9 x 1 piece of Christmas themed scrapbook paper. Using your scissors cut a triangle pattern on the paper. I just freehand cut these.
I used tacky tape on the back of the paper and wrapped the paper around the jar.
Tie some ribbon around the jar and knot it at the front. Using a mini glue dot to glue a jingle bell at the center of the knot. It really is so simple.
Wouldn't these go great with my Santa Jars?
