With these easy gift basket ideas and tips you can easily create the perfect gift for all your loved ones this holiday season.
Gift buying is not always the easiest thing to cross off your holiday to-do list. Some people I feel like I can instantly know what I'm going to get them, I get it, and I'm done! But there are some people that are a little harder to buy for. When that happens I try to think of an activity that person likes. For example, if you have a friend that loves coffee, skip the easy gift card and/or pound of coffee and create a whole experience!
Today I'm sharing my favorite gift basket idea: For the Coffee Lover because well, I love coffee! But I've also rounded up a few other gift basket ideas to get your creative juices flowing! Everything here I was able to find using Walmart's gift finding search features! This is such a great way to find the perfect gifts for all your loved ones! Be sure and tell me in the comments what ideas you come up with!
How to Assemble a Gift Basket
Gift baskets are so easy to make with just a few simple tips. These 3 simple steps can easily be applied to any themed gift basket! And with everything Walmart has to offer, you are sure to find whatever you need!
1. Start with a Basket or Bin
The first thing you need for a gift basket is - a basket. I like to find a container that makes sense for the overall theme of the basket. For the gift basket I made in the above picture, I used a metal wire basket that could easily sit next to a couch and hold a cozy blanket, extra pillows, etc for somebody who likes to cuddle up on the couch and enjoy the hot beverage of their choice. See some options below:
2. Include something with texture
Once you have your basket, it's time to start assembling the gift items inside. My favorite place to start is something that provides texture to the basket. Perhaps this is a blanket, hand towels, wash rags, dish cloths. Choose something that compliments your gift basket items. Shop some of my favorites below:
3. Add an assortment of gifts
This is where you can get creative! The gift basket I created above is for a coffee lover so the items I chose are a coffee mug that keeps beverages warm, a milk frother, and a tea kettle. All of these items work together to create a special experience for the recipient! You can do the same with someone who loves to cook, or perhaps somebody who needs a little self-care in their life! I've rounded up some of my favorite gift basket ideas below so you can shop all those items in one spot to create a gift basket of your own! Take a look at some of the groupings below!

Thank you for explaining that a good place to start with filling the gift basket is to include something with texture. I've been trying to find some good ideas to create a gift basket for my mom since she hasn't been feeling well recently. I'll be sure to keep this in mind so that I can make it really fun and thoughtful that will also look great.

Gift baskets offer a thoughtful way to celebrate special occasions. Start by choosing a theme like spa days, coffee lovers, or movie nights. Select a suitable container and gather a variety of related items, both practical and indulgent. Personalize the basket with handwritten notes or items reflecting the recipient's interests. Arrange items neatly, add decorative filler, and finish with cellophane wrap and a bow. Consider dietary restrictions and shop smartly for affordable, high-quality items. With these steps, you can create memorable gifts for your loved ones.
