Mother's day is a day we all celebrate our Mothers. No matter who you are or where you come from, we all have a mom. Motherhood isn't restricted to those of us who have endured childbirth. There are women who take children under their wing even if they don't share the same DNA. There are women who step up and take children that aren't their own and raise them as such! Women are amazing creatures who have a desire to nurture rather it be infants, adults, furry friends, or traveling the world taking care of others through compassion! So on Mother's day this year be sure and celebrate the women in this world who have sacrificed more than one will ever understand! Maybe bring her Breakfast in Bed! I don't know many moms who would turn this down! So if you want to bless the mom in your life with Breakfast in bed I'm going to share with you how to set up the perfect Breakfast in Bed Tray!
Breakfast in Bed for Mother's Day
Start with a tray (obviously, haha) and drape some a placemat over it. This helps things to not slide around and it's pretty... and moms like pretty! I used the new Better Homes and Gardens Galvanized Oval Tray topped with this Black and White Placemat.
Next I layered the Faux Wood Charger, Marble Melamine Plate, Floral Melamine Salad Plate for the main breakfast meal. I also added chopped fruit into the Small Marble Bowl (found in stores).
The silverware. Oh guys! This silverware makes me super happy. It's this beautiful rosy gold/copper color! It's only available in stores, so run there right now and snag your set!
After you set your tray, serve up the food and bring it into the sleeping mom's room. Don't forget the coffee if she's a coffee drinker ; )
So I actually ate this meal, since I had to photograph it and all. I'll be honest I'm not a huge fan of the avacado/baked egg thing. I really thought I was going to love it. Avocados are my thing, and topping it off with bacon seemed like a total win. I think it's the texture of the baked avocado I wasn't a fan of. But hey, you might love it! Just make sure whatever you make you KNOW your mom will love!!

This is a really great post. Love all the items you used, and they all look so 'upper end'. 🙂 I actually saw the rose gold flatware the other day while shopping at Walmart, and I had to tell myself, "Keep going, Julie...
