In September of this year my husband and I will celebrate 12 years of marriage! In those 12 years we have been on a couple overnight trips and two short vacations without our children. With 3 children who are now homeschooled, you do the math... Time away is definitely needed! So we are trying to squeeze in a trip to Mexico for just the two of us to go sit on a beach and just stare out in to the water! And I have gathered up 1o Must Haves for your Beach Packing List!
On the short trips that we have done we are always busy bees trying to do as much as possible... for this one, I literally just want to sit in a chair and not move. Between working from home and homeschooling, I think it would be healthiest for my kids if we had some time away. Absence makes the heart grow fonder right? Well in anticipation I've rounded up 10 Must Haves for Your Beach Packing List. This list is geared more towards flying to a destination, but even if you are just making a day trip of the nearest beach, all these items are great to have on hand!

I won't lie, I am not confident in my body and I'm just a modest person by nature. Here are a few of my top picks for swimsuits. All of these bathing suits are great for the self-conscious (*cough I mean modest) yet still flattering and adorable 😉

When you are on a beach vacation you obviously spend lots of time in your swimsuit, so you'll want to have a quick way to cover up when going in and out of shops or restaurants.
Must Have Sun Hats
If you're like me and plan on doing lots of sitting (*cough I mean relaxing), a simple sun hat to keep your face from turning into a tomato is a MUST HAVE for sure!

There might not be a whole lot of walking planned, but you still need to get from point a to point b. Plus you might be feeling spontaneous and decide to venture out!
