Give cute treat boxes for St. Patrick’s Day to your friends, neighbors, and coworkers! Below is the complete tutorial with a video. ☘️
What is St. Patrick’s Day?
St. Parick’s Day is the day we honor Saint Patrick. He is recognized as the Christian missionary who converted Ireland.
To celebrate there are festivals and parades where people sing Irish folk songs, dance, and tell stories.
Why Do We Wear Green on St. Patrick’s Day?
Wearing green has also become popular with the holiday. In folklore, it is believed that if you wear green you become invisible to leprechauns, and a leprechaun will pinch you if he can see you.
So that is why you should always wear green on St. Patrick’s Day or you’ll get pinched. ?

The cut file for Treat Boxes for St. Patrick’s Day is completely ready to go in Cricut Design Space.
As is, the finished size of the treat box is 1.75 x 1.38 x 2.8 inches or 4.5 x 3.5 x 7.5 centimeters.
If this size works for you then you can click on Make It. If you need to adjust the sizing, click on customize.
Cricut Design Space will tell you when to place the scoring stylus into the clamp and when to place the pen in the clamp.
I cut this out on a Cricut Explore Air 2 but this could also be cut on the Maker.
Assembling the Treat Boxes:
Fold the treat boxes along the score lines.
Place double-sided adhesive along the tab of the box.
Looking at the bottom flaps of the box, fold the left and right flaps over the top and tuck the tabs under.
Tuck the flap with the adhesive into the box, and slide the bottom flap over the top of the others and tuck in the bottom.
Fill the treat boxes with whatever you want. I filled each one with a different treat. One with Chocolate Gold Coins, and the other with Andes Mints. Which one would you prefer?
String a length of Baker Twine through the holes in the treat box and tie with a cute little bow.
And your cute little treat box is ready to give!
