Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Surprise your sweetheart with this charming treat holder. Made with paper doilies, this is a simple craft project that will fit the bill any day of the year.
Whether you are making this for the one you love or for a class of second graders, these cute little doily heart treats will definitely make them smile.
I love making little thoughtful gifts, especially for a holiday!
These treat holders are super simple to make and you can get the supplies at your dollar store!
Supplies You'll Need to Create this Project:

Adding the Name:
To begin, add the name to a paper heart doily.
I used rub-on letters here.
I did a horrible job of centering this first one, but you get the idea. 😂
Stitching the Hearts Together:
Thread a long piece of ribbon through the eye of the needle.
Layer two paper heart doilies, with the one with the name on top.
Begin stitching the two hearts together at the indent at the top of the heart. When you start, leave a tail about 4 inches long.
Stitch about ¾ of the way around the heart and then add in your small candy between the two layers.
Finish stitching the rest of the way around and meet back up at that indent point.
Tie a bow to secure the two ends together.
They look so cute!!
Who will you be giving your heart to this Valentine's Day?
