Last week I shared the DIY Teepee I made with my friends at Home Depot, and today I'm going to reveal my son's whole bedroom! It always feels so good to finish an entire space and check it off your list. So come on in and take a tour of my little man's new Navy and Gray Big Boy Bedroom! Small Bedroom Decor Ideas
His room isn't very big so we really had to maximize storage options wherever we could. I'll be doing a whole post about that later, but my favorite part is this dresser we got him!! Isn't it the most adorable dresser ever?
Storage for Small Bedrooms
This daybed is very functional for little boys! The drawers are a great place for kids to store clothes, toys, or anything they need access to on a regular basis. No need to worry about them not being able to reach it or pulling the furniture over on top of them!
I finally was able to incorporate these wooden arrows that I made for my youngest's nursery! But ever since we've moved I just haven't had a place for them. They were one of my very first projects to go viral about 4 ½ years ago so they hold a special place in my heart!
This fan blade is just awesome. I'm pretty sure it's a fan blade, but it made me think of a vintage propeller so let's go with that!
Kids Dresser
Let's move on to talk about this dresser a little more though. It has the alphabet on it... obviously... and I think it's perfect for a kids room. He organized all his toys based on the letter that was on the drawer. It was the most adorable thing ever!!
His Teepee doesn't stay up all the time, but I love how easy it is to set it up for him when he needs a little place to read!
Sometimes he doesn't read and just does adorable things! : )
And of course the cafe lights make it a little extra fun to play in there!!
Industrial Kids Decor
He also has this tiny little wall between his closet and the open bedroom door, which was the perfect place to add little coat hooks down low enough for him to hang his backpack and jacket!

I see you purchased the day bed from Home Depot. I am interested in the stain process that was used to make it. Do you have any experience in this area. I am looking for something very similar only grayer not blueberry for a country table I am repairing.

Hmm, I don't have much experience staining colors like that. I know that at Home Dept Minwax has an option where you can mix colors in. I've never personally done that, so you might be able to check with them on that for a more blue type stain while keeping the gray in there!

Hi Denise, I was having issues with those not working, but all is fixed now ; ). However the bear and fox aren't actually listed there because they were a Hobby Lobby find. I've seen them at most Hobby Lobby's so I would be willing to bet yours would have them 😉
