How to Make License Plate Wall Art

How to Make License Plate Wall Art! A fun and unique DIY Craft Tutorial Idea idea. Beautiful home decor that tells your story.

Hi Crafty Blog Stalkers! My name is Jamie, and I am the creator of [kreyv], a blog about my obsession with interior design. I’m an interior designer, momma to Stella, and wife to Jeremy. Today I’m sharing one of my favorite DIYs.

This piece definitely gets a lot of attention–everything from, “I really love that,” to “Why did you do that to your license plates?” (The latter is always from men, so those comments don’t count!)

This project is super easy AND super cheap. All you need is particleboard (I had mine cut to 24×32); license plates, of course; furniture nails; white spray paint for the license plates; and Bronze spray paint for the particleboard.

Spray paint your license plates, paint your particleboard (or cover in fabric), and attach the license plates using furniture nails. That’s it, you’re done!

I hope to see you again over at my blog, [kreyv], I’m also on Facebook, and Instagram. Plus, I’m really good at pinning really pretty pictures of interiors, clothes, and food I’ll probably never make on Pinterest. I hope you’ll come to visit!

I love that you simply painted them white. I don’t have any license plates right now for a project like this, but this is great inspiration! Lovely. 🙂
