Create a beautiful Mama Bird Nest Necklace as a gift for mom! Below is the complete step-by-step jewelry tutorial.

Hi there! My name is Christa and I hang out over at Brown Sugar Toast.

Thanks so much to Katie for having me at The Crafty Blog Stalker today!
Today, I am going to be showing how to make a Bird's Nest Necklace.
This is a pretty simple project - the most time-consuming part for me was actually going out and buying the supplies.

You can use any color beads that you want. There are no rules!
You could even go with a birthstone color, how cute would that be?
Necklace Tutorial:
Before you begin, decide how many eggs you want in your nest...or beads in your necklace.
I made this necklace for my sister {who has 4 adorable kiddos}, so I decided to give her 4 beads to symbolize her precious children.
Start by stringing the beads onto the wire.

Then wrap the wire around the beads to get a nest-like look.

Continue wrapping around the beads until you like the look. Then, wrap the wire around the existing nest to keep everything together. Here's what the back of my nest looks like.

Once you are happy with how the nest looks, you need to make a loop to attach it to your chain.

Attach the charm to your necklace and wrap the wire around the hook to make things nice and secure.

And that's it! Isn't it cute?

If you love this necklace tutorial, please give it a five-star review and help me share it on Facebook and Pinterest!
