Yesterday kicked off the Cherished Christmas Home Tours alongside Countryliving.com and 26 of my favorite bloggers sharing all the details on their Christmas homes, I hope you've had a chance to check those out, otherwise you can always start the tour here! When sharing our home tours sometimes it's difficult to stop and talk about all the details with so many pictures, so today I'm going to share with you our beautiful flocked white Christmas Tree!
I've always wanted to have two trees, one in the living room, and one in our kitchen/dining area, but it just hasn't happened yet. Secretly I might just want the extra tree because my house lacks some serious lighting and the trees are a beautiful way to do that.. in the winter. Not sure what I'll do after Christmas, but for now I'll just cuddle up in my blanky and enjoy the cozy light!
Since this isn't our "main" Christmas tree, I really wanted it to be simple and cozy. I've also always wanted a flocked tree. I've thought about DIYing one, but really it's never as good as the real thing, I don't know how they do it, but the snow on this tree (from Hayneedle) is so realistic looking! One day I'll just fill my house with bare Christmas trees and pretend like I spend my days walking through beautiful forests... you know, when I have my house on 10 acres and horses and a giant garden and a beautiful farmhouse cabin in the woods (yeah... when that happens... #goals)!
For decorations and ornaments I kept it very simple. I mainly used white matte balls and snowflakes with a few pinecones scattered to make it a little more rustic so it matched my other decor.
The garland is this this wicker type ribbon that I found at Michael's. I don't even know what to call it, but I found it in the floral aisle.
So that's it for our simple white flocked christmas tree. What type of trees do you put up? Do you like simple trees or ones full of color??
And don't forget to check out our full Christmas Tour : ) Have a beautiful day!

Don't tell my tree.. but flocked are my favorite.
There is nothing like a flocked tree... I don't care how messy they are or anything else.
Magical I tell ya.
I love it!!
