Eureka AirSpeed One Turbo Review

Cleaning Cleaning Cleaning. Sometimes it seems that's all we do as mothers. One of my pet peeves is a dirty floor. A dirty floor just makes the whole house feel gross to me, that is why I was so excited to try the Eureka AirSpeed One Turbo Vaccum Cleaner!

Do you find that new cleaning products are comparable to getting birthday presents? I mean sometimes I even ask for new cleaning toys! Some of the things that I got really excited about with this vacuum is that it has an onboard stair and upholstery nozzle. We are getting ready to move and I will have carpeted stairs to go up to the kids rooms and carpeted stairs heading down to the basement which will be the kids play area. So... yes, stair attachments were a must for me!

I also really appreciated that this is such a lightweight vacuum cleaner. Hauling it all over the house and up and down stairs isn't easy when you're barely 5'3" ; ) Plus, over the summer we will be instituting a chore schedule for my son and I wanted something easy enough for him to be able to use. He loves to vacuum so why not teach him early right?

Once I got this baby home, I immediately put it together (remember, I love cleaning toys!). It was super easy to assemble. Just a few clicks here and there... it probably took me 10 minutes including all the kiddo interruptions! Mainly them trying to run away with the pieces because it was a "robot vacuum cleaner", according to them anyways : ) I think they just loved the green color!

So let's see how it held up to a house with 2 little ones. Lately the kids have been obsessed with making card for people, so they are constantly tearing pages out of a spiral notebook... you can imagine how many little pieces of paper this leaves behind. It sure stood the test! I had vacuumed probably the day before I tested this one out, and not only did it get the paper, but you wouldn't believe the dirt it picked up too that my old one was leaving behind.

So after using this for a few days I can say I am extremely impressed with the suction and easy of use. However, because it is such a great value, it is not quite as sturdy as some other models. I did have to hold it while using the extension hose. With that said, though, it is an awesome vacuum for the price and gets the job done, I am looking forward to using it in our new house!
