Welcome friends! Today is a post I look forward to every year! It's a little tour of our house by candle light. We don't have very many rooms completed or decorated, but I made the best of what we have. So grab a cup of hot tea or cocoa and come step inside our home!

I'll be sharing the details about this space soon, but here's a little sneak peek at what I'm calling our "Sitting Area". It's not really a living room, it's not our dining room, but it's connected to our living room and I want this to be a place we can gather to play board games and laugh around a table! It sits right next to the fireplace and it just feels like the perfect place to make all my dreams of cozy family nights come together!
Who knows how to play backgammon? I've actually never learned but have always wanted to, so I got this for our family to learn together!
We did manage to get this space and my daughter's room completed. She's overjoyed to have such a pretty little corner in her room.
