Awhile ago I was at my local craft store and I found this awesome Neon Chain Pendant on clearance. I thought it was really cute, and even though I didn’t know right away what I was going to do with it I bought it. I am so glad that I did, because I love the neon chain earrings that I made.
They were very simple to make and even without this exact package of neon chains you could still easily duplicate with silver or colored chains from your craft store.
On the pendant there were four lengths of each color, but I only needed two. So I have extra to play with later.
The lengths of chain were attached with jump rings, so I opened the jump rings to remove them from the silver chain.
I took two of the colored lengths off of their jump ring and added it to the other so all three lengths were on one jump ring.
I already had some silver hook earring wires on hand, I love when I don’t have to buy new and I can use what I already have.
I added the earring wire to the jump ring and then tightened the ring back up using 2 pairs of jewelry pliers.
And they are done! These earrings easily took less than 30 minutes to put together and they are really cute. My daughter has already asked to barrow them.
