Simple Summer Porch Decor is used in this easy refresh to create a fun, inviting, and functional space to spend summer evenings as a family!

This is officially the last project I will be doing at this house. It's been almost 3 years of living in this house and I can say I am literally exhausted. It's been a long process, most of which I didn't even have time to document, but we are officially done and closing at the end of the month! The process of this house can only be described as bittersweet. I've said it before but we literally poured blood, sweat, and tears into this house. I can only hope the new owners love it as much as we have. So as we prepare to say goodbye, I have one more project for you, our Summer Porch Decor!
This porch very well might be our favorite spot in the house. It has a gorgeous view of our downtown park and with it's full width size it's the perfect place for our whole family to sit. We watched our kids throw footballs, ride bikes, we've drank coffee, and ate lunches out here. It was a very special place to us! Even though this is our last project I'll hopefully be able to share some things over the summer that I never had the opportunity to share! Along with whatever our next chapter looks like 😉
Simple Summer Porch Decor
I kept things very simple since I knew we would be packing soon, but still wanted to use the porch as long as possible! The first thing I bought was new planters and summer flowers. I shared a super easy hack for tall planters on IG Reels the other day (check it out here) which will make moving these to our rental very easy! And uou can also see the process I went through for this whole summer porch refresh in this reel!
Then I added new rugs to our front door (which I will just simply move over to our rental). Our old ones were in pretty rough shape after sitting outside for the last 2 years through both winters. I should probably bring that stuff in ;).
And other than those things I mixed up some some throw pillows, added a few new ones from Target, and put my aloe vera plant on our side table.
A Simple Porch Refresh
Like I said, this was a super simple refresh, just to make sure we enjoyed our porch for these last few weeks. I'll share a few more photos, and then you can find links to everything at the bottom of the post! Can't wait to share our plans with you. I mean that implies I know what they are, so I should probably say I'm excited to see what the next chapter in our life will look like so I can share with you haha! Hope you guys have a fantastic summer!
If you want to see how else I've decorated our porch you can catch up on these posts:

Such a refreshing take on summer porch decor! Love how the craftsman style blends traditional charm with modern touches, creating a cozy and inviting space. Definitely inspired to try these ideas!
