This Modern European Easy Fall Mantel is the perfect way to use tones and textures to create a cozy vibe this Autumn Season!
It's been a long time since I've decorated for Fall. We moved out of our last home in July and then into rentals for almost a year until we moved into our new build home. The fireplace in our previous home is probably still what I get asked about most to this day. It was a great fireplace. But in this house, I wanted something streamlined that would give us a timeless look. It's just a simple plaster fireplace with a gas log insert and I couldn't be happier with the result. Ideally, I will one day have custom built-ins on either side of the fireplace, but for now, these Ikea Billy Bookcases are working out beautifully alongside our Easy Fall Mantel.
Simple Fall Decor on a Fireplace Mantel
Our Mantel decor is very simple this year. With all the shelves next to the fireplace I wanted to keep things pretty simple! I added a few faux pampas grass stems, candlesticks (similar to these), and an old vintage sugar mold (this one is very similar to what I have). The pampas grass stems I got are a natural and dusty pink color from Hobby Lobby, but they have some pretty similar ones at World Market if you are looking to order online.
Fall Art on a Frame TV
Then I used this gorgeous art print on our Frame TV to really bring all the tones together, creating this overall Fall Vibe! If you've ever been on the fence about a Frame TV, I absolutely love ours. Yes, there are hacks to get a similar look, but I absolutely adore how close to the wall this one sits! I wanted one for our bedroom, but we did decide the cost was too much for in there. But for a focal point in the home, I absolutely suggest it!
I'll be sharing our Fall Home Tour soon, but this little space sure has me feeling all cozy! Next up is the full living room, kitchen, dining room, and our front porch! I'll definitely have to squeeze in a tablescape as well because I miss decorating for those!

My mantle is usually the first thing I change each season since it is the focal point in our family room. I like your simple look this Fall. Seems like we all need a peaceful feel in our homes this year. Our home needs to be a safe place we can retreat to and also gain strength from knowing it is there to welcome us any time.
