Modern Natural Fall Tablescape Decor

I'm currently working on my Dining Room for the One Room Challenge and I think I'm most excited because this means we can finally have family dinners. We have a table in our Breakfast Room, but that space hasn't been finished yet so it's not very exciting to look at a bunch of unfinished projects while you're trying to enjoy a meal. But today marks the beginning of a new era in our home. We are so close to finishing up this room, so it's only natural that I start decorating immediately ;). I hope you enjoy this Modern Natural Fall Tablescape.

Use Items Around Your House

I started this tablescape off with a scarf I found at Target. I've always loved black and white and this one totally caught my attention just walking down the aisle. Scarf's are a great item to use for seasonal decor, because when you no longer need them, you can just wear them. I'm a big fan of items that serve multiple purposes.

I then layered my decor on top of the scarf starting with these gray vases, and added a few clippings from the Dried Schema Bunch. I also used the Dried Schema and Dried Thistles, layered with the wooden beads in the center.

Decorate for Fall with Natural Elements

For the place settings I layered these black plates with these black and white salad plates with a simple napkin and some Dried Gourds. On the two end place sets I added these gorgeous Gold Pine Cone Wreaths, which will make a great transition into Christmas as well!

I don't know why tablescapes are always so fun to put together, but I find it incredible relaxing. Maybe because it's a small way to bring a little bit of the season into your home and enjoy a fancy meal with your family! I encourage you to have a nice meal every once in a while. We mostly eat of paper plates without all the fancy fixings. But sometimes you just need to live out your Downton Abbey fantasies!
