When January first rolled around I was all about the organization projects. I'm excited to tell you that I haven't given up! I've been working on organizing our home once space at a time, and it's actually working. This is a big deal for me. Normally I quit a few days in, but I won't pretend like there weren't days of complete and utter disaster, because there were. Certain days my house look like a bomb went off. It was all a means to an end. So far I've updated my kitchen (as far is it's going to go for a while), I created a little mini mudroom space, and now I'm sharing my Farmhouse Pantry Organization Tips.

When I started this project I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get everything in it's proper "bucket". But not only did everything fit, now nothing is crammed in there and it's so easy to find what I need! I'm really bad about just setting something down. This way kinda forces me to find the correct spot. Those of us who aren't naturally disciplined/organized have to set guidelines like we are children, haha... well, I do at least!
Here's a look at the before:
Farmhouse Pantry Organization Tips
First thing's first. Let's talk about the cereal issue. I absolutely hate having those boxes in my pantry. I honestly can't tell you why, it's just always been an annoyance of mine. These BHG Cereal Containers are a dream come true. I've seen these around since I became an adult and always thought it seemed like a waste of money. Oh how wrong I was! They keep your pantry organized, cereal fresher, and are easier for kids to pour themselves. They make me happy in a way I didn't know existed. Can somebody make me a meme that says "You know your a mom when cereal containers excite you!". It's true!
My kids were thrilled that I had to take pictures of our pantry since the weirdo in me wanted all "brown" cereals to go with the whole color scheme. (I know, total crazy lady problems). Can you tell which cereal I don't buy very often? Yeah, the chocolatey one in the middle! ; ) I'm actually surprised the Cheerios and Cinnamon Toast Crunch are tied!
Did I mention I actually organized the WHOLE pantry. I'd normally be the lady that organized one side, and the other side would be housing rotten potatoes. Not this time! I did both sides! (1 Point Mom)
And just to prove I didn't cheat... I actually did do both sides! ; )
For organizing all our pantry contents I went with the Large Galvanized Bins and the Chalkboard Crates from Better Homes and Gardens.
The Crates have the built in chalkboard making it easy for labeling. For the Galvanized Bins I used Chalkboard Labels.
If you're looking to organize your pantry, I'm a huge fan of this bucket method!

Fanstastic job. Each time I clean our pantry, it stays that way for about three weeks, then my family start just sticking things any and everywhere except where they are suppose to be. I've given up on our pantry. ????????????

This is by far my most favorite pantry that I've ever seen! Because of our setup we can't have a swinging door on our pantry so we can either keep the ugly accordion door that we have now or do an open pantry. I've been struggling to decide on the prettiest and most efficient way to hide it all and you post totally inspired me!
(also the neutral colored cereal is TOTALLY something I would do too! haha)

Katie, if my pantry looked like that, I'd take the doors off! Great job!

Hello. I found you through a Pinterest link. Love Pinterest, and love this blog. Cute stuff. I'm wondering where you found the dog food bin. I am not a fan of the clunky plastic one we currently have.

What a transformation! The bins are perfect for making everything look really nice. I'm visiting from Tutorials & Tips Party.
