Waffles with Maple Cream Syrup and Chopped Pecans

Maple Cream Syrup Ingredients:

Butter
softened

cup
Powdered Sugar

Cream Cheese

Maple Syrup

Instructions
Waffles
In a large bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt).
Create a well in the center of your dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients.
Stir until fully combined, and cook in a
waffle iron
according to the manufacturer's instructions (all waffle irons are a bit different!).
Maple Cream Syrup
Place all of the Maple Cream ingredients into a microwave-safe bowl.
Stir everything together with a fork or spatula until well combined. It will be thick.
When the waffles are hot and ready, place the bowl of sauce in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Stir, then cook another 30 seconds. You want the sauce hot and completely melted.
Pour the maple cream syrup over your waffles and top with a few more pecans.

Maple Cream Syrup Yields about 1 ¼ cups.
