How to Make Strawberry Delight Recipe in Individual Servings

- 1 cup White Sugar
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch heaping
- 2 cups Cold Water
- 1 small pkg Strawberry Jello
- 1 lb Fresh Strawberries washed and sliced
Crust
- 22 Oreo Cookies crushed
- 3 tbsp Butter or Margerine softened
Creamy Topping
- 8 ounces Cool Whip
- 8 ounces Strawberry Spreadable Cream Cheese
- ½ cup Powdered Sugar
Filling
In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch. Stir until there are no clumps.
Add water, and again stir thoroughly.
Set burner to high and bring the mixture to a rolling boil, stirring continuously. Boil for 1 minute.
Remove the saucepan from the burner and add the Jello package to the mixture. Stir until the Jello completely dissolves.
Place the saucepan in the freezer for a quick cool-down.
Wash strawberries and slice.
Remove the Jello mixture out of the freezer and add the sliced strawberries. Give it a good stir and return to the freezer.
Crust
Turn 22 Oreo cookies into crumbs with a rolling pin or in a food processor.
In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with softened butter and stir until well combined into a crumbly mixture.
Pour about ¼ cup of the crust mixture into each cup.
Grab the strawberry mixture from the freeze and pour a generous amount of the strawberry mixture into each cup.
Transfer the cups to the refrigerator. Give them some time to chill and firm up.
Cream Topping
Combine the Cool Whip, Strawberry Philly Cream Cheese, and Powdered Sugar in a mixing bowl.
Generously spread the topping over the layer of Jello and strawberries.
Sprinkle the remaining cookie crumbs over the top.
Place the strawberry delight into the refrigerator and let it chill overnight or for a minimum of 4 hours.
Before serving slice a couple of fresh strawberries and place them on top.
