How to Make Easy Peanut Butter Chocolate Pretzel Bars

These peanut butter chocolate pretzel bars are easy to whip up, making them a perfect dessert for any day of the week. An easy treat that everyone will love.

Equipment

  • 1 Food Processor
  • 1 9x13 Cake Pan

Ingredients

Pretzel Layer

  • 2 cups Pretzels finely crushed
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • cup Butter

Peanut Butter Layer

  • ½ cup Butter
  • 2 cups Creamy Peanut Buter
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

Chocolate Layer

  • 1 ¼ cup Milk Chocolate Chips
  • ¼ cup Creamy Peanut Butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.  
  • Use a food processor or rolling pin to crush the pretzels in crumbs.
  • Add the sugar, and butter to the food processor and mix together.
  • Press pretzel crumb mixture into the bottom of a 13x9-inch cake pan.
  • Bake 10 minutes and let cool.

  • Mix together the peanut butter, butter, and powdered sugar. You can do this with a spoon or spatula.

  • Spread the peanut butter mixture onto the pretzel layer.  It can be a little sticky so I like to use a rubber spatula or even my fingers to get it spread out.

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, place the chocolate chips and peanut butter.

  • Place in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and then another 30 seconds.  This should be enough to melt it but if not, repeat until it is completely melted.

  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture on top and spread until everything is nicely covered by the chocolate.
  • Place in the fridge until chocolate is firm.
  • When firm cut into squares and serve.
