Today I'm sharing a wooden spool ornament with a wish list for the kids!
Just in case you haven't noticed, I'm trying really hard to do an ornament every Tuesday.
I am on my way to a handmade tree!!! : )
Wooden Spool Ornament
I saw a wooden spool ornament on Pinterest but I can't find the original source, so if you know where it is, please let me know I so I can credit them!
So to make this I simply took a 1x4 left over from making slats for my son's bed and painted it white.
Then I used my PSA Stamps to add some super fun and aqua colored snowflakes! Everything is cuter in aqua right? : )
I love how they turned out! So cute!!

Then I just wrapped some crochet thread around and tied it in a knot.
Took my super duper cute mini clothespin (the ones from Addison's room and my Thankful Board) and used it to hold the ornament on the wooden block because you know how I love mini things!
So the plan is to display it and then next year it will be an ornament! Plus it's a fun way to remember what your kids loved each year!
I just cut a strip of scrapbook paper and used washi tape to tape it down to the spool, and again to keep it wraped around!
Please tell me I'm not the only one who has already made a billion Christmas decorations?! : )
