I love my family!

All of the women in my family like to get together occasionally to sew or craft together.  This particular weekend we all met at my Grandma’s house  and made an entire weekend out of it. My Mom and 2 sisters were all quilting and I was just sewing lots of little projects.

One of the projects I did was this TShirt Refashion.

My sisters and I had a fun craft day and I made this super cute tshirt refashion. Follow the DIY tutorial to make your own shirt with cascading ruffles.

I followed the tutorial at from Tea Rose Home.  It is a fabulous tutorial with lots of pictures and great instructions.  Here is hers.  I love how it looks with a cardigan!

You use 2 shirts to make the 1 and I got my shirts at the DI.

I really like this shirt!  This isn’t the best picture (I am actually wearing my pajama bottoms when I posed) but it is really a fun shirt!

To share a little more of my weekend, this is my Grandma’s house where we spent the weekend.  My Mom grew up in this house and  I have lots of fun memories of trips to this house growing up.

We spent lots of time laughing, eating and on the look out for HUGE scary spiders.  It was a great time.

I love my family!
