Wow! This year seemed to fly by and drag on all at the same time! I'm pretty sure I'm not along in that though process, but let's not dwell on the past! It's a new year and something I'm really working on is being happy in the present moment and trying to not look back or too far ahead, because I am guilty of both!
This past year I feel like I kind of fell off the grid a bit. I wasn't on stories a whole lot, and I didn't feel like I was sharing the process of this remodel. I think this house ended up being a lot more difficult that we originally anticipated. We ran into so many issues along the way and it became both physically and emotionally draining. I just lost my desire to talk about it! However, we are planning to put this house on the market ANY day and I can't wait to close the chapter here and see what's in store for our family!
We took some much needed time off over the holidays. I didn't do a single work thing from the day before Christmas eve until today, and it was absolutely glorious! We played video games with our kids, board games were constantly out, we watched movies, we slept in and we napped several times! I stayed in pajamas a good chunk of the time and I wasn't mad about it! Both my husband and I have full time jobs, plus renovating this house, my husband is also a worship leader out our church and we pretty much go all day every day including weekends! It's exhausting, but to be honest I don't do well with nothing to do... it's a real struggle for me.
