Unboxing the new Cricut Explore? See everything that comes in the box and a video of the Cricut at work. This is a fun ecutter machine! The supplies for this post have been provided by Cricut. All opinions are mine alone.
I love my new Cricut Explore!
About a month ago I was invited by Cricut to go to a special event where the new Cricut Explore was unveiled. It was a crazy fun event with 2 days chalk full of playing with other bloggers and learning about all of the awesome features of this new electronic cutter.
As an extra perk of the event, I received my very own Cricut Explore as well as some Beta Software to use with the machine. I haven’t been able to play with the Cricut Explore as much as I would like, but be prepared to see many more projects pop up in my blog using this little ditty.
The fun part for me was unpacking my new toy. I took pictures every step of the way so I could share them with you.
It all started when I got this box in the mail. Yay, it’s finally here! The only problem is haveing a full-time job and a family, so this brown box sat on my table for two days till the weekend. I was so excited to finally dig in.
I couldn’t help but admire the box. So pretty, and it got me even more excited about what was inside.
When I opened, there is a tray at the top with a packet of project materials and a getting started guide. I was too excited so I lifted the tray up with the two tabs on each side to get to the real goods.
Do you see that? It comes in its own storage/tote bag!
After I lifted the bag and machine out of the box you could see the cutting mat and another box underneath. I wonder what is in that little box.
Oh, the cords, of course.
Isn’t the storage bag just so cute! I love that this is included with the machine and isn’t something that I have to purchase.
The new Cricut Explore out of the bag, literally!
The machine is so pretty and very streamlined. It won’t look bulky at all sitting on my counter.
This next feature is another that completely makes me smile. So much so that I took a quick video of it.
The set up is 3 easy steps and listed on the opening flap, so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of an instructional manual.
Time for another great feature! On the bottom flap is two compartments. The one on the left is for extra blades and the one on the right holds all of the tools that you need. The tools are sold separately.
When I went to the website listed on the flap under step 3, I followed all of the follow the screen prompts and got my machine registered and set up on my computer. So easy!
When everything is ready to go it takes you to the first project that you can make. You can skip this if you would like, but why? Everything you need for it came in your project materials envelope. It is a really cute Thank You card, and the Cricut Explore just whips it right out. I even made another video of it.
If you have any questions at all about the Cricut Explore please let me know. I have my very own Cricut Representative that will be more than willing to answer any questions that I can’t.
