I love giving gifts to my family and friends but sometimes it isn't quite in the budget to purchase store bought items from a store. So I often make yummy treats to give out to our neighbors and friends. Gifts in a jar are so much fun so I often turn to my collection of jars when I am going to make a treat! These can be given out to friends, neighbors, co-workers or even a special treat for your family. This particular recipe I made for this dessert in a jar is one that my family just loves! #TasteTheSeason
Getting treats from neighbors for Christmas is such fun. It is something my kid especially love. When someone knocks on our door the kids run to see if it is a neigbhor or friend visiting. They especially love to make the treats with me to take out and deliver. This is one of those recipes that the kids could easily help with and then take out to deliver with you. It is fun to catch up our neighbors and enjoy each others company. When I am making my Chocolate Brownie Trifle most of the items on the recipe list are staples I usually already have in my pantry and fridge - but when I need to get more of the items I just run to Walmart and stock up!
Chocolate Brownie Trifle Gift in a Jar
Ingredients needed:
- Brownies cut into ½ inch squares
- 1 package of Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese (room temperature)
- ¼ cup Powdered Sugar
- 2 ounces Chocolate
- 1 - 8 oz package Kraft Cool Whip
- Nuts, Chopped
Start off by putting the cream cheese and powdered sugar in a bowl and whipping together
Next melt your Chocolate. Simply put in a microwavable bowl and stir every 30 seconds until the chocolate is nicely melted. I only needed to put it in the microwave for 30 seconds twice and then another 10 seconds. Once the chocolate is melted add it to the cream cheese and beat everything together.
Beat in the Cool Whip
Cut your brownies into bite sized pieces.
Now it is time to assemble! Add some brownie bites, your cream cheese mixture and your chopped nuts. Repeat the layer one more time and the jar should be filled.
Oh yum! This looks so good!
Add a cute ribbon and even a little tag if you would like and you have a cute treat!
What desserts do you make for neighbor gifts?

My gift giving list seems to get longer each year, and buying for everyone always seems like a strain on my wallet. This is such a fun way to show others you care! Thank you for sharing this great treat! #client
