Sometimes the smallest of treats can make your day – especially if they have a nice pretty package. I received some Mini Muslin bags and stamps from Stampin Up and was really hoping that the ink would stamp onto the bags – I am so excited that it worked! I hope you enjoy this cute little tutorial!
Stamped Mini Muslin Treat Bags
I received Product from Stampin Up to use in some of my projects and I am just loving them! Let me show you how easy this project is to make! (links below are to product pages on Stampin Up)
Supplies Needed:
- Mini Muslin Bags
- Coral Pom Pom Trim
- Banner Punch
- Banner Banter Stamp Set
- Bordering Blooms Stamps Set
- In Color Printed Clothes Pins
- Black Ink – I used Memento Tuxedo Black
- Acrylic Block for Stamps
- Scrapbook paper scraps
Once I had the idea in my head I was able to put this project together really quickly – I love it when that happens!
The first thing you will want to do is stamp your muslin bag. Make sure they are flat and on a nice hard surface. Ink up your stamp really good and press onto the cloth. Press down really good!
I love how the ink looks on these bags – so pretty!
I wanted a cute little tag to put with my bag. The banner punch was the perfect small size. I just punched out some banners to make tags from some scrapbook paper scraps I had. The Banner Banter stamp set matches it very nicely. You could stamp with anything – the choices on the Banner Banter Stamp set are “Thank You”, “Just for You”, “Love You”, “Cute Baby”, “Happy Day” and “You’re the Best”. I love all of the options depending on the occasion. I went with the “Just for You” stamp.
Fill with some candy or treats. I put M&M’s in a ziplock baggie and then placed them in the muslin bag. Then pull the draw strings tight and tie. Next tie around some Coral Pom Pom string – I think this is my favorite part!
Finish the bag by clipping on the clothespin over the Pom Poms and adding the tag.
I hope you enjoyed this quick and cute tutorial!
