Have you ever made a big decision and it just seems to take a couple of weeks to really soak in? Sometimes when I'm driving down the road here in Utah, I catch a glimpse of the mountains in my rear view mirror or out of the corner of my eye and it dawns on me that I'm not in Wisconsin anymore. It's such a weird feeling. Don't get me wrong, I love the mountains and I always have, but it just stops me in my tracks to think about how I am in a different geological location. Am I the only one who always things about things in an ariel view? I imagine our little family on a giant US map. Maybe I'm just weird. Well.. despite my weird inner workings, lets talk about how I still have a million things to show you from our Wisconsin house. And when I say a million I mean like 3 or 4. ; )
I'm not going to lie, I miss this living room even though I always found it to be an awkward shape and size. Our current living room is even more awkward in it's layout and quite a bit smaller, but we are going to make it work for us. I've got some exciting things planned for our new little space that I can't wait to share with you! For now though, I'll just let you take a stroll through our living room. You can find all the shopping sources at the bottom of the post ; )

Your living room is beautiful! I would love to get white couches eventually for our house. It makes me nervous with having small kids! It would definitely need one with a slip cover!

Home is where you feel it to be! I loved that living room. It looks vintage or rustic I can't make the difference between those two styles, but I really liked that room.

You aren't weird Ashley... I soo picture people all the time in their geographical location! Whenever I read or meet someone and it says where they're from, I have to look on a map just to be exact, when I picture them! lol! Your living room is beautiful, as always! Look forward to pictures from your UT home! xo

Love the living room! You have such great taste. I'm wondering if you could share where the pillows on the couches are from (both the beige/blue(?) ones and the beige/beige ones).
Ashley
Thank you so much!! The beige/blue ones I got from kohls. They actually had some words on the front and I just flipped them around to the back : ). The beige/beige ones are pillow covers from hobby lobby over in the fabric section ; )

I love it. And there is a LOT to be said for a white sofa in decorating. I have a free-to-me loveseat (small apartment --I have a large armchair, a small armchair, and the loveseat, with no room for a full sofa). I didn't care for the pattern on the loveseat, though of course was appreciative of the free loveseat from my friends. I put a soft cream slipcover on it, and ANY pillow or throw I have looks good on it. My color is an off white or cream, as my main neutral, and I am very happy with it.
Your use of that dark greenish bluish color with the chalkboard background and pulling that out in the accents was an awesome surprise. I thought that was really a cool accent color to pull out. Not a color that is common, and that just looked really good in the way you used it.

It's so calm, peaceful and welcoming! Absolutely love it!
