Get wet and have fun with DIY Water Fight Sponge Balls this summer. Below is the complete step-by-step tutorial.
These Sponge Balls are perfect to take to the lake, pool, or just throw around in the front yard. They are fun to play with wet or dry and are great to use for all sorts of games.
Plus, these sponge balls are very inexpensive because you can get the supplies at your local dollar store! I made 6 balls for $1, yup just $1! All of the supplies that I needed I bought at my local dollar store.

Craft Tutorial:
Begin by cutting each sponge into four strips.
Group six sponge strips together and wrap with a zip tie.
Tighten the zip tie and you will see the ball shape form.
Trim the end of the zip tie as close to the inside of the ball as you can.
And wallah! You have a sponge ball.
We have used these for indoor tossing games instead of a bean bag. BUT add water and that's when they get really fun! (Outdoors of course!) Great for water fights or outdoor games.
Our Crafting Essentials:

Love these! I think I would just sit in hiding and throw them at my kids! Now, before everyone get all huffy, my kids are 16 & 17 and they can handle it! lol Actually this would be super fun when we are boating too because they float. Thanks for sharing 🙂
