Make a set of keepsake plates with your child's silhouette! Below is the complete step-by-step tutorial.
Have you ever had an idea brewing in your head? You were just waiting to find the perfect something for that project?
That is exactly how this project came about. I know the what and the how but I was waiting for the perfect plates.
During the summer I was at a garage sale and I found them when I wasn't even looking for them. Plus, they were dirt cheap, and that is my favorite price!

Supplies You'll Need to Create this Project:

- Ceramic Plates
- Vinyl
- ScissorsÂ
- Cricut Cutting Machine
- Picture Prints
Craft Tutorial:
Begin by taking a profile picture of your kids.
Print the pictures or get them printed at your local print shop.
Carefully cut around the profiles with a pair of scissors.
Trace the profiles onto the back of a vinyl sheet. When tracing make sure the silhouette is facing the opposite direction you want it facing on the plate.
Carefully cut the silhouette out of the vinyl sheet and apply some transfer tape to the right side of the vinyl. This will make it easy to place the design on the plate
Cut their names out of the same color of vinyl using your Cricut.
Place the silhouette design and name to the plate and peel up the transfer tape.
Isn't it cute?! All that is left is to put them on display.
