Refashion an old t-shirt into something new and stylish by adding ruffles and a few buttons.
Easy to sew and now I have a new favorite shirt!
Dorian from busily spinning momma created this amazing t-shirt refashion tutorial that I knew I had to try as soon as I saw it.
Without further ado, let me introduce you to my Ruffles & Buttons Tee
Can you believe it all started with just a simple Long Sleeve Shirt? Earlier in the day I went to the Salvation Army and found this new long sleeve shirt that still had the tags on it for only $2. Perfect!
Dorian’s tutorial is very well done with lots of pictures and very easy to follow. In fact, I finished mine while watching the Second Harry Potter and was finished well before the movie was over!
Here are some more shots of my version.
Here is the original. I am sorry but her tutorial is no longer available.
Have you ever refashioned a t-shirt before? What did you do? Share and leave a comment below!
