Being a mom is very rewarding but once the kids are down for bed I love to have a little me time. What is even better is when I have a girls night with some of my friends. When NickMom suggested I get together with some of my girlfriends to enjoy a few laughs, eat some good food and watch a fun show I couldn’t call my friends fast enough.
Whenever I get together with my friends we have a ton of laughs and it always lifts my spirits! So we got together this past week to watch the show Instant Mom on NickMom. Instant Mom is a cute show that stars Tia Mowry-Hardrict and was a lot fo fun to watch. We had quite a few laughs while we watched the show – the kids had a hard time staying in their room when they heard us laugh and wanted to come see what we were watching. I liked that Instant Mom was family friendly and it wasn’t something we had to switch off when the kids snuck in to see what we were doing.
We also had some yummy appetizers – I prepared some chips & salsa and some fruit.
We also thought it would be fun to have some yummy drinks so we made up a batch of Virgin Strawberry Daiquiris. These turned out really good.

I never heard of Nickmom either. I will have to check it out when I get cable again or maybe I can find it online. I love doing girls nights..usually its just me and my sister and it involves shopping but she is moving to Peru soon so I will have to figure out a plan B or hang out with Aimee. Gosh. :p jk! 😉 teehee
