Valentine’s Day will be here in no time so I wanted to share some great treat ideas to give to friends, teachers people you work with and anyone else you feel needs a yummy treat. It is important to me to share something with the important people in my family’s life. It shows that we appreciate all that they do for us and how much we care about them. And who doesn’t enjoy a little something on Valentine’s Day? A sweet treat like my M&M’s®Strawberry Fudge, a delicious tin of DOVE® Chocolates and some cute cards are the perfect idea for Valentine’s Day!
I love to make treats for people and I think they are going to love my M&M’s®Strawberry Fudge! Doesn’t that sound delicious?? It reminds me of Chocolate Covered Strawberries (a favorite of mine).
The fudge recipe I am sharing today is rather simple and comes together nicely – just be sure to follow the directions so you don’t end up with burnt fudge.
M&M Strawberry Fudge
Be sure to print out the recipe below to make the fudge.
- 1 to 2 package of Strawberry M&M’s® (8 oz.) (I used about 1 1/2 packages)
- 1//2 cup butter
- 4 cups Sugar
- 1 large can Evaporated milk
- 2 packages of Chocolate Chips
- 1 large Chocolate bar, broken into pieces
- 1 Jar of Marshmellow Creme
- Line a 13×9 inch pan with tinfoil.
- Place your butter, sugar and milk into a pot and turn the heat onto medium. Keep stirring the ingredients together. Once it comes to a boil stir for another 6 1/2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add marshmellow creme, chocolate chips and chocolate bar. Stir together until everything is incorporated and you can no longer see white marshmellow.
- Pour into 13×9 inch pan. Add M&M’s® to the top and gently push into fudge.
- Let cook and enjoy!
Before you start gather together all of your ingredients so you don’t have to step away from stirring the fudge while it is on the stove. Open all of the packages and break up the chocolate bar.
Prepare a 13×9 baking dish by lining it with tinfoil (makes it easier to pull the fudge out) and spraying that with some cooking spray. After that is done get a big sauce pan and put in your stick of butter, sugar and the entire can of evaporated milk.
Turn the heat on medium – I pretty much keep it here the entire time. Start mixing the three ingredients together and slowly they will all dissolve into each other. Keep a slow stir while things get heating up.
Keep stirring and when the sugar mixture begins to boil start a timer for 6 and 1/2 minutes. Keep stirring the entire time. If you stop stirring then it can easily burn.
Once the time is up remove the pan from the heat and immediately add the marshmallow creme. TIP: Dip a spoon into the hot mixture and use that spoon to get the marshmallow cream out of the jar. The heat from the spoon helps get it out much quicker.
Begin stirring the marshmallow cream into the sauce while you stir in the chocolate chips and chocolate bar. Now keep stirring until everything is nicely incorporated. You should stir until there is no more white from the Marshmallow cream.
Pour into your 13×9 baking dish
Then take your bag of M&M’s®Strawberry and place them on top of the fudge and gently pushed them in. This recipe uses M&M’s®Strawberry – such a yummy flavor! I like trying the different M&M’s® flavors to see which I like. This is one that I enjoyed.
Now you need to let this cool. Because it is cold outside I just placed mine in my cold garage to help it cool quicker. Once everything is cool it is easy to pull the fudge out of the pan – just pull it out by the tinfoil and then lay the tinfoil down for easy cutting. Cut up into squares
For this batch of fudge I placed the squares in a cellophane bag and tied up with ribbon. For any remaining fudge keep it fresh by wrapping it tightly with saran wrap. Everyone always tells me how much they just love the fudge! I hope you enjoy it as well!!
To go along with my fudge I also bought some cute heart tins of DOVE® Chocolate. I love how the DOVE® Chocolate just melts in my mouth and the heart shaped tin make these such a fun Valentine gift.
I like to grab cards to go with my M&M’s® Strawberry Fudge and DOVE® Chocolate. Cards are the perfect touch. American Greetings® has some really nice Valentine cards. Some are romantic, some are funny and some are cute and sweet. Since these treats are for friends and teachers I decided to go with more of a cute and sweet valentine card.
Look how cute these cards are! I especially love this caterpillar card!
I hope you like these Valentine’s Day Ideas. I know this is something I would love to get for Valentines from my friends!
I was able to get everything I needed for these gifts at Walmart.

Taylor I think you will like the Strawberry M&M’s. I didn’t tell my husband what flavor they were when he tried them and he knew they were strawberry. To me they taste like chocolate dipped strawberries.
