Glow in the Dark Halloween Trick or Treat Bag

Glow in the Dark Halloween Trick or Treat Bag

A couple of days ago I shared my video of what I received from iLoveToCreate.  I received some fun Tulip Glow in the Dark paint to use in a craft.

So today I am so excited to share with you my Trick or Treat bag I made for my son using the Tulip Glow in the Dark fabric paint iLoveToCreate sent me .This bag may look kind of simple but when it is glowing in the dark it looks so cool!

This was really easy and quick to do. So lets get started!

Supplies Needed:

  • Fabric bag
  • Vinyl
  • Tulip Glow in the Dark paint – on this bag I used the Natural and Orange Glow

First cut out some images/words in vinyl and place them on your bag.  I did a skull because my son wanted something spooky and the word “Beware”.

Using your glow in the dark paint trace around the vinyl images.

I like how the Tulip paint has a fine tip.  It helps with tracing around the image as well as spreading the glue around.
Apply a line of paint
Then using the tip of the paint spread the line of paint around to fill in the space.

Do this with the entire project and the words.  When I do this again I am going to use the negative piece of the vinyl words instead of the actual letters because that would be easier to just fill in then line.

Let dry for 4 hours and then carefully peel off the vinyl.  I used some super pointy scissors to pick up the corner of they vinyl, which was really helpful.

My son is so excited to Trick or Treat bag and loves that it glows in the dark.  These really glow in the dark great but my camera was not able to capture how awesome it glows.

I had a lot of fun creating my Trick or Treat bag for iLoveToCreate, you should check them out to see their other great products and ideas:
